Samsung offers a new accessory that should interest the regular players on smartphone, those for which the smartphone acts as a portable console. The South Korean manufacturer has launched a gamepad controller for Galaxy models (with version 4.1 Jelly Bean or higher).

Weighing less than 200 grams and running thanks to a rechargeable battery via USB, it looks like a joystick that one might find on a home console, with a multidirectional cross, two sticks, four action buttons, two triggers on the back and two select/start buttons.
The controller is connected to the mobile device via wireless Bluetooth 3.0 or using NFC technology. Its dimensions are 137,78 x 86,47 x 31,80 mm, weight - 195 g. The controller can be adjusted according to the size of the device, it supports from 4" to 6.3" screens.

At the moment, you can use the GamePad with 35 games, including Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame. Samsung didn't say anything about the price, but did mention the GamePad is only available for purchase at the moment in Europe.
