The designer Stu Crew, helped by other designers, has posted on its website " a concept of OS X, the current Mac operating system, with the design of iOS 7, future major update of the OS of Apple mobile devices. This concept is called "Ivevicks" , (for J. Ive, designer iOS 7) and Mavericks, the name of the future update of OS X 10.8.5. This concept therefore covers the flat design of iOS, with simple colors and lines and fonts in very fine print.This concept therefore removes the "heavy"textures of OS X to replace them with the colors of iOS 7.
The link between OS X and iOS is very strong here and is visible at first glance. This link was present before the two operating systems, iOS 5 & 6 and OS X Lion & OS X Mountain Lion. But because of a recent change in design teams, both operating systems have evolved differently: a radical change took place with iOS 7 and its very flat design, while OS X Mavericks retains its metallic design and silver . But iOS / OS X links could be restored in future versions, so Crew offers us a concept with the design of the two closely OS.
Notes and Calculator applications use exactly the design of those available in iOS 7: yellow and black dominate the Notes, and the orange and gray dominate the Calculator.The Notification Center blurs the background image and displays notifications over with the application logo in blue and categories .
