John McAfee Develops a Gadget Costing $100 To Prevent NSA From Spying On You

Mr. Jhon McAfee, founder of the company McAfee specialized in security solutions and anti-virus software, wants to create a tool called D-Central, which would prevent theoretically the National Security Agency (NSA) from accessing to your information.

During a speech at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center this weekend, John McAfee explain in detail how it aims to create a gadget costing $100 and witch can work with smart phones and other devices, and will stop the governments from accessing to your personal data . In theory, the device would create a small private network that acts as a deep web inaccessible to anyone outside. McAfee has developed the technology for several years, but the program has been accelerated since the events of recent months to meet growing public demand.

It's not about replacing the Internet, but to provide localized dynamic networks allowing users to communicate and share files safely. The modules are presented as terminals to access a public network and a private network. The range of the device is about 3 blocks and anyone in these blocks could communicate with all the people connected. Depending on whether the user is moving in town, his interlocutors would change and this would develop new types of exchange according to John McAfee.

This a video of a full interview with McAfee, he start talking about this new device at 24m 31s :

The device will require six months of development before reaching a prototype. The millionaire is currently looking for partners for the development and for the creation of the material. However, the device could never see the day if it gets banned by the U.S. government.

We imagine that if McAfee has developed a unique system of encryption witch the NSA will not be able to hack, then the main use of this type of product will probably not only ensure the security of users' personal data, but also to allow often illegal actions by offering total anonymity to users .
