Nokia Lumia 625 : Larger Phone , Lower Price

Nokia has officially confirmed the Lumia 625, the successor to the mid-range device based on Windows Phone 8, the Lumia 620 which was announced in December last year during LeWeb'12 conference.

While it has nothing to do with the Lumia 1020 launched two weeks ago in New York, the Lumia 625 is not the high-end smartphone that all lovers of Windows Phone would have, since it includes lower specifications. Indeed, under the cover of Lumia 625 we find a 4.7-inch WVGA screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. There is also a micro-SD slot to expand the storage. As some of the Lumia range, the display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and additional touch sensitive technology from Nokia, allowing you to use the device with gloves or with your fingernail.

At the back of the phone we find a 5 megapixel camera capable of capturing 1080p video at 30fps, and includes traditional Nokia applications such as Smart Cam Cinemagraph and Panorama.
Perhaps even more impressive, the smartphone will have 4G LTE connectivity, which will make this Windows Phone at very small price, very interesting.

With 4.7 inches, the Lumia 625 is now the largest of all Lumia smartphones. While increasing the size of the screen is an emerging trend for smartphones remain relevant alongside phablettes, there seems to be no border to the size.

The Lumia 625 will be sold in orange, yellow, green, white and black with a number of interchangeable covers when it will be launched in the third quarter of 2013. It will cost 220€ and will be available in China, Europe, Asia Pacific, India, Middle East, Africa and Latin America!
