We already knew that the next update of Windows 8, known as code-named "Blue" will move the operating system version 8.1. The OS in question is accompanied by a new version of Internet Explorer, the eleventh. What we did not know was what would happen to the browser on other versions of Windows. The Redmond company has awarded our fellow Engadget Internet Explorer 11 will indeed be ported to Windows 7. No release date was given. We can only refer to the history of Internet Explorer 10, which was released four months after the final version for Windows 7.
IE 11 incorporates WebGL which allows to use hardware acceleration (and thus optimize the autonomy of mobile devices), but also SPDY could eventually replace HTTP. Other new features introduced in IE: the ability to open a hundred tabs in one window and a new interface dedicated to touch screens address bar.
