HTC Officially Unveiled One Max - 5.9-inch Display and Fingerprint Scanner

HTC has officially unveiled the One Max today. It is the last and third largest smartphone of the current series. The highlights of the smartphone are a fingerprint scanner and a large 5.9-inch display with Full High Definition resolution. Just like the One and One Mini, the One Max comes in an aluminum body that is seamlessly linked.

"The addition of the HTC One max means that we now have an HTC One phone for everyone. The family has been built on quality and game-changing innovations and the HTC One max is certainly no exception" said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation. "The upgrade to HTC Sense 5.5 will provide our most amazing mobile experience yet, with the HTC One max delivering the size and power required to do everything you want, and more, without compromise."

On the back, HTC has installed a very visible fingerprint sensor. Unlike Touch ID , you must apparently slid your finger over the surface. Identical to that of the sensors seen in recent years on laptops and phones. On the iPhone 5s, you simply place your finger. Also, this sensor is intended only to unlock the phone.
