The Apple company has unveiled a new model of iPod touch. It is called simply iPod touch 16GB and takes the place of the iPod touch fourth generation therefore falls outside the Apple catalog. The iPod touch 16 GB takes the design of the iPod touch 5G, but it lacks the 5 megapixel camera and iPod touch loop.

Other features are the same as on board an Apple A5 dual-core processor, a 4-inch Retina display similar to the iPhone 5 and a FaceTime HD camera on the front. However, it is only available in one color: gray. It is always supplied with the Apple EarPods headphones (without remote control) and a USB cable Lightning.
The dimensions remain the same as the iPod touch 5G with 123.4 x 58.6 x 6.1 mm, but the absence of the camera allows it to gain 2 grams on the scales for a total weight of 86 grams. Autonomy is always 40 hours of audio playback and 8 hours of video. In terms of connectivity, it keeps the audio output jack 3.5 mm, the Lightning port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0.
