While it was previously necessary to have a developer account to access the beta of Mac OS X, Apple has changed the rules and now allows anyone to use them.
Named OS X Beta Seed Program, this new program welcomes all types of registration and therefore no longer needs to pay $ 100 required for the acquisition of a developer account. Once registered, participants will be able to get free test versions of Mac OS X, and so try them to send a report to Apple allowing them to refine their system.
It is interesting to note that this decision comes just over a month before the WWDC 2014 that will be held from 2 to 6 June in San Francisco, and a new version of Mac OS X could be presented.
