Team Evad3rs came with a great surprise for us, witch is of course iOS 7 Untethered Jailbreak, but unfortunately, this tool, Evasi0n 7, face a lot of problems with many users who tried to jailbreak their devices and failed. Some of those problem : the device can't boot, or stuck on Apple logo or the tool won't work...
Today we are going to solve most of problems that faced most of users, we'll update this post with more solutions:
Problem : Impossible to run Evasi0n 7 on Mac.
Solution : Right click on the tool, click "Open" then click "Open" again.
Problem : Impossible to run Evasi0n 7 on Windows.
Solution : Right click then "Run As Administrator" .
Problem : Device stuck on Apple Logo.
Reason : the device was updated via OTA
Solution : Make a force restart of the device,by holding the Power button and the Home button for 10 seconds until the logo reappears and then repeat the jailbreak.
Problem : Activation Lock
Solution : the only solution for this problem is to contact the seller to remotely disable the Activation Lock or contact Apple Support.
Problem : Stopping at a jailbreak step like : Configuring System 2/2 :
Solution1 : turn off "Find my iPhone" in iCloud stetting , turn on "Airplane Mode" and remove the password of the device.
Solution2 : ( Windows users) use another computer, run Evasi0n7 as and Administrator, run the software under Troubleshoot compatibility.
For iPad 2 users, you'll have to wait for an update of the tool to fix problems.
Notes :
• The main solution to all problems is to wait for an update of the tool.
• The jailbreak process take time, but not more than 5 min.
• During the 5 min don't touch the device until the software tells you to.
• The jailbreak won't work very well, as major tweaks doesn't support it yet.
• For best result make sure you restore your devices using iTunes, but don't forget to back up your data.
• Turn off the firewall when running the software.
• Update iTunes to the latest version before restoring.
