This is what is called to imitate ! A few days after the launch of the iPhone 5S in a unique gold color, Samsung is preparing also to tint its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4, with a golden color. It is in any case what Samsung Gulf, the Middle East subsidiary of the Korean manufacturer, yesterday announced via its Facebook page.
For now, nothing is known of the markets concerned by the possible launch. The Galaxy S4 Gold Edition retains its plastic back cover, but it is tinted gold, while the front is in brown (Gold Brown) or pink (Gold Pink). These are the only details supplied, but we imagine that technically, no changes will be made over a classic Galaxy S4.
If Apple surprised everyone by offering the iPhone 5S in the golden or "champagne" color, the success was the appointment because this model is out of stock both online and at most dealers. So we understand why Samsung seeks to do the seam.
