The iPhone 5S is available from yesterday, and with it the new security system put in place by Apple : the Touch ID. The latter uses a fingerprint reader to identify the user, supposed to be more secure than traditional password system. Nick DePetrillo and David Graham, two security experts want to make the Touch ID protection of the iPhone 5S fall. For this, they offer up to 16,000 dollars, funded primarily by Internet users ,who can make their donations on istouchIDhackedyet.com site. To receive the reward, you will therefore have to prove your point by posting a video in which you managed to bypass the security system repeatedly and give some information on the method used.
According to Apple, the sensor of 500 dpi of its Touch ID is specific enough to identify without error the finger of the user, up to the layers beneath the skin. But history has proven that no security system is completely unbreakable, and this is probably a matter of time before someone manages to find a flaw in it.
