iWatch, The Name Was Already Registered in The U.S., UK and China

Apparently, Apple registered the iWatch trademark in areas such as Japan, Mexico, and Taiwan, just to name a few places, suggesting that the existence of the device could be real. However, as iWatch is hardly the most creative name ever seen, particularly the popularity of the prefix "i", it seems that Apple has problems to secure the rights of the iWatch trademark in countries such as U.S., UK and China .

According to reports, it seems that the iWatch name is already registered in these countries, and while negotiating the transfer of the rights of the original holder to Apple witch can be easy, and probably expensive in the U.S. and UK , but for China it could be different. It was last year that Apple has had legal problems in China on the iPad name. A Chinese company called Proview would own the rights to the name, but Apple thinks they have rights via a fictitious company. In short, Apple had to fix the problem with Proview in order to legally use the iPad name in China. It is not necessarily the same case with iWatch, but you never know!
