Surface RT has not been a great success for Microsoft in terms of sales, but the Redmond company does not lose hope and will continue to push its product with a second version. Today, many rumors suggest the future of the tablet running Windows RT.
According to Bloomberg sources, RT 2 Surface would give up the Nvidia chip (Tegra 3 for Surface) for Qualcomm. The tablet will be equipped with a Snapdragon processor 800 and therefore would have a 4G LTE chip to seduce the audience connected.
Microsoft's strategy is to attack the king of the market, the iPad, on its own ground. The new version of the RT area should be presented at the upcoming Build conference of Microsoft.
