This little device allows you to send a "virtual" key to some handpicked guests , so they can open the door without you being there.
Designed by Yves Behar and Jason Johnson, this smart lock takes the appearance of an aluminum housing rather nice. Coming to attach to the door, the device connects via Bluetooth 4.0 to an iPhone. The user is then able to manage finely access at home, via a dedicated application. Simply create profiles in the interface to allow friends and family to enter. Thus, the lock is unlocked automatically when the person approaches the door, the mobile is detected and recognized by the camera. in other words is a more reliable way to protect themselves from intruders.
Powered by two AA batteries and a battery life of six months to a year, the Smart Lock is estimated at 199 $. It is expected this year.
