Watch How Earth Changed In The Past 28 Years With Google Timelapse
Google has launched a new tool, called Timelapse, which allows you to see the accelerated satellite imagery over twenty eight years running. One can thus visualize the evolution of the surface of the Earth, including the melting of glaciers, urban growth in cities like Las Vegas or Shanghai, the decline of the Amazon forest and the expansion of the Sea of the Emirate of Dubai .
On its blog, Google said it had completed its project with Time magazine, the American Geological Institute (U.S. Geological Survey) and NASA. For a high-resolution experience, visit Google’s Earth Engine
