The publisher of mobile game Rovio announced Wednesday, May 15 that he is in a partner with the Sony Pictures studio to release an Angry Birds movie in July 2016.
Certainly, after six games, seven with "Bad Piggies, an amusement park opened in Finland in early 2012 and an animated series of 52 episodes, Angry Birds Toons, released in many countries, the Finnish developer announced that an animated movie was also planned.

Distributed by Sony Pictures Studio, this animated 3D movie will be released on July 1, 2016 and will be produced by John Cohen and David Maisel. If Sony is not Pixar or Dreamworks, the studio still have some experience in animation movies such as Hotel Transylvania, The Smurfs or Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs
