Facebook Home : All What You Need To Know




Unsurprisingly, the specialist social network unveiled Facebook Home. This new product is not an OS or an application, or an overlay ... This is an Android interface (launcher) can completely replace your current Android interface.If one had to summarize the idea in a few words, we could say that Facebook Home looks like a smart lock screen. Once installed, the tool will allow you to easily track the news of your friends, but not only. No, because in a few seconds, you can also interact with them if you wish.


Facebook Home is in the form of an interface that is divided into several branches:


Cover Feed



The focus of the application that comes as a welcome page with all the latest news from your friends, you can easily enjoy and comment.


Chat Heads


A feature that relies on alerts floating bubble, which will display the photo of the friend and the number of unread messages. This feature supports multi-bubbles that show not one but several contacts alerts in several bubbles which can be moved and accessed at will.


Notifications


All notifications will be visible in a tab, which will provide an overview of alerts that can be removed with a single finger swipe to the right. This feature will support missed calls, SMS, Facebook notifications and many other applications.


As it was announced at the conference, Facebook Home will officially release on April 12th to download on Google Play.

Facebook Home will be compatible with HTC One, HTC One X and HTC One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III, Samsung Galaxy S4 et Galaxy Note II  .Nevertheless, it is possible that new models are added to the list rather non-exhaustive.

New smartphones will be added to the list since Facebook announced it had signed several partnerships program (Facebook Home Program) with many manufacturers (such as HTC, Samsung, Sony, Lenovo, Huawei, ZTE and Alcatel One Touch even). Facebook Home will also be compatible with tablets, however, will have to wait a few months.
