Lenovo Brings The Start Menu To Windows 8

From the early days of Windows 8, Microsoft has created the surprise by removing a feature that was part of the key elements of the operating system for years: the Start menu. The withdrawal leaves room for a new interface and hence a new way to use the system. But instead of replacing everything, the teams left combination of two interfaces: the new, based on dynamic tiles, and the former with a conventional office.

Only the navigation within the "office" is not as easy without this feature, besides the habit is hard to lose to the regulars. Lenovo, the world's number one PC, probably thought to this detail, and to ensure that its customers will not be put off by this change to the less radical, the Start menu is back in all Windows 8 machines of the mark.

The Pokki utility from SweetLabs was selected by the team to be automatically installed to the OS. Meanwhile, Microsoft has heard the criticisms against its operating system. So, the next major update Windows 8.1, whose scheduled for October 18, reintroduced the Start button ... except that its functions have nothing to do with this.
