Remove Blur From iOS Video Interface With NoPlayerBlur

If you watch a lot of videos on your iOS 7 device using the Videos application, or another method of watching video that uses iOS' default video player, then you are probably familiar with the blurred interface that brings up all of the media controls, display controls, and a way to stop watching the movie.

If you're not a fan of the blurred interface, then you can use a new free jailbreak tweak called NoPlayerBlur by iOS developer evilgoldfish to remove the blur effect and modify the transparency of the interface to make it look the way that you want it to look.

NoPlayerBlur's transparency option works great for movies that are darker where the text on the buttons and the button glyphs are harder to see. With it, you can brighten up the interface while sill removing the blur effect.

If you would like to give NoPlayerBlur a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak requires iOS 7 to be installed.
