A Developer Recreated Full Facebook Home Experience On iOS

Kenny Tang is one of those who would have liked Facebook Home to be built on the iOS since its release, but Apple wants to control its operating system. However, the jailbreak is the only way to benefit from the experience of Home on the iDevice or at least some features. Kenny Tang is now currently working to develop Facebook Home full on iOS.

Last month, Facebook released the updated Facebook 6.0 for iPhone and iPad providing features of Facebook Home for Android: Chat Heads and Skins.

Due to limitations of iOS, Facebook could not bring the experience of Home that provides on Android smartphones, although Apple and Facebook were in talks. While some of you were disappointed and for others it was their equal. A few days after the release of Facebook 6.0, Adam Bell has crafted a tweak, Message Box which was presented here. This allows you to have Chat Heads anywhere on your springboard and other applications. However, Chat Heads are only part of Facebook Home.

However, Kenny Tang was not happy with all this, he wanted to recreate a similar experience on the iPhone. After a few weeks of work, Kenny Tang recreated whole Facebook Home on the iPhone with features like RSS Cover, Launcher, the Chat Heads, Facebook integration with the Camera and many other.

In the video above, you can see that Kenny Tang is in possession of an iPhone 5, which is not jailbroken, from where he launched Facebook Home with an application. With a Jailbroken iPod touch 5G, it shows that Facebook Home is present from the ignition device. The developer will still have to work and his work should be out on Cydia.
